Description:

Getting back to some Agile fundamentals – 'inspect and adapt' requires frequent, data-based, visual feedback loops from all that data collecting in tools like JIRA and TFS.

Raised awareness of the dynamic system we work within stimulates insights and improvement. The intriguing patterns and trends that lie hidden in the data encourage exploration. A multi-dimensional backlog is a more engaging way to talk through options with stakeholders. Monte Carlo simulations of delivery dates or deliverable scope helps everyone to focus on the options they have.

It’s time to de-toxify ‘metrics’ from their association with 'governance' and give the teams the insights they need.
