Sabotage is everywhere around us. And is present especially when we try introduce something new, which moves people out of their comfort zones or threatens them in any way. And we've all seen how agility can be sabotaged - for example treating it just like a word, a label that can be placed over existing processes and structures. However, most sabotage attempts are unintentional and they are in fact a manifestation of some deeper problem within the organization - perhaps sabotage is the only weapon of the weak against the strong management?

This lightning talk, which is based on previous workshops done by Fred Williams and myself (last was half a day workshop at Agile Europe 2016) will briefly focus on common sabotage patterns for agility and moral aspects of sabotage with the intent of treating sabotage as a symptom of something being wrong in the organization.
